The Seal of Saturn is Hidden within the Tarot. Why?

There are three tarot cards that contain a hidden Seal of Saturn aka Seal of Zazel within them: the Hierophant, the 10 of Pentacles, and the Devil card all contain the hidden Seal. These seals in their specific locations on these three cards connect us to much deeper insight and richer understanding of the concealed mysteries within the tarot. The thing to focus on now is the Seal’s importance to the Rider-Waite (Smith) tarot deck, and know that it is hidden in more places than one.
Similar to the Vesica Piscis symbol, the diamond formed in the center of the Seal of Saturn acts as a portal which leads from the astral realm into the physical world. This portal acts as a gateway where one is able to draw down a desire from the macrocosm down into the world of the manifest known as the microcosm. It is similar to a womb that’s sole purpose is the basis of creation in this universe. It is a doorway that acts as a bridge between spirit and form, matter and anti-matter — the infinite void and all matter.
Saturn is the guardian of the threshold between the material and the spiritual worlds; the gateway between eternity and the realm of time and space. Saturn is where the descent into matter begins.
When studying the planetary magic squares, Saturn is associated with two spirits, Zazel and Agiel. Zazel is known as the Spirit of Saturn, while Agiel is considered the Intelligence of Saturn. Saturn’s seal reflects the energy influences of both these spirits. The Seal of Saturn is the portal to the astral dimension, signified by the number 45, which is prevalent throughout the Rider-Waite tarot. Coincidentally, both the names Zazel and Agiel share a Hebrew gematria value of 45. The diamond located in the center of the seal represents the third eye, and when opened one can transverse into higher dimensions of reality between time and space. Within each occurrence of discovering a hidden connection linked to the number 45 within the tarot will always allude to this concept.
The third eye allows us to connect to God. Adam, the Hebrew word for man (mankind), has a gematria value of 45, and YHVH (Yahweh) has a gematria value of 45 (when you spell out each letter of the tetragrammaton — Spelling the letters in יהוה (YHWH) by itself gives יוד הא ואו הא — Thus, man is able to connect with God through his third eye.
The practical reason for why the Seal of Saturn is concealed within the Grid, which includes all the numbered cards (pictured below), is for the sole basis of protection from Saturn’s planetary impact. The seal acts as a protective shield that deflects all of Saturn’s negative influences which can include such things as judgment or time restrictions — all the while sealing in the magical essence that Saturn beholds. A magic square, or kamea, is a representation of spiritual forces in a mathematical format. They are typically arranged in such a way that any row is equal to the sum of any column. Each of the seven classical planets have both a Seal and a Kamea, aka magic square. Whereas the kamea sets forces in motion, the seal brings them to a halt.

Saturn is known as the lord of time, restriction and karma. Saturn constantly emits waves of solidifying energy down upon us. This low vibrational energy, which is essentially sound waves, delays the process of creation, as well as restricts time in between cause and effect. Saturn governs the time allotted for one to manifest their desires with a blanket of low vibrational egocentric waves that solidify in forms of restriction, frustration, doubt, and fear. We experience this illusionary reality created by this energy as karmic life-challenges and daily struggles.
The Seal of Saturn acts as a protective shield from that malefic force allowing a tarot practitioner to not be restricted by the time it takes for a desire to manifest itself into reality. They are able to see results very quickly — appearing like magic or a miracle. The tarot has hidden within it the tools and the keys to prosperity that can be used to enrich one’s life. With the use of the tarot, Light is revealed without the restrictions and limitations of the Saturnian influence.
Below is a picture showing the three tarot cards that have a hidden Seal of Saturn within them.

Interesting to point out is that the sum of these three cards’ Roman numerals equals 30. 30 is the number of years Saturn takes to make its return, known in astrology as the Saturn Return. On the day of one’s birth, Saturn is positioned at this point in their birth chart, and begins to retrograde its influence slowly away, and will not return back for approximately another 30 years. The Hierophant (V), 10 of Pentacles (X), the Devil (XV) when added together is 5+10+15 = 30.
Interestingly, when you place all the Tarot’s numbered cards in a grid layout, from least to greatest value in a descending formation, the Seal of Saturn can be found by following the card’s numbers. Refer to pic below.

Another coincidence worth mentioning here is that when you add up the cards at each of the Seal’s 6 points on the Tarot Grid you get a sum of 45.
